Our goal is to make each visitor’s experience on the UNT campus meaningful and memorable. Tours start at the information desk in the Eagle Student Services Center, last about 90 minutes and cover about 70 percent of campus, including academics, student services, residence halls and the recreation center.
UNT’s premier tour guides are the Eagle Ambassadors, students specially trained in UNT history and traditions, etiquette and general university knowledge. They lead about 2,500 free campus walking tours each year for prospective students and family members, community groups, visiting VIPs, alumni and donors. The tours, which feature commentary from the student’s perspective, are great for new employees, too.
